Our Story
​​​Inspired by such Deep Thinkers and Visionaries, we strongly believe in the power of education and the enrichment of mind and tolerance levels that comes with international travel and overseas higher education.
Pursuing higher education from some of the best and most renowned schools in the World should be an easy and straightforward process. Instead, today, it's a very complicated and stressful process with a lack of proper information, misinformation, and vested interests. Hence, we started Ubergrad with a simple mission "to provide the most useful and accurate information on finding the right schools and the resources to get there".
We are a small and passionate team that is working hard to make this vision come true. Our students' and partner universities' success stories and feedback are propelling us to work better each day!
We are currently focusing on students wanting to pursue graduate programs in 6 English-speaking countries - the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland.
Meet The Team
Vijay Gondi - Investor & Mentor

One of the early believers and backers of the Ubergrad platform, Vijay Gondi mentors and advises the Ubergrad Management Team on a wide range of topics ranging from strategy, operations, revenue streams, fund-raising, etc.
In his previous role, Vijay was the Vice President and Head of NICE India Global Talent Center (GTC) for over 5 years. He was responsible for growing and managing all of NICE’s operations in India across their centers in Pune and Bengaluru, comprising close to 1500 people. The operations included Product Development teams, Professional Services, and Delivery teams, and Support teams working across the entire breadth of the NICE portfolio.
Prior to joining NICE, Vijay was an R&D Director at Avaya, a global provider of business collaboration and communications solutions. During his 18-year career at Avaya (and its parent Lucent Technologies), Vijay held key leadership roles in managing Avaya’s flagship IP Telephony platform as well as several products in the Contact Center portfolio. Apart from managing software product development teams, Vijay was instrumental in driving the overall growth of the Avaya India R&D Center and has been involved in developing Outsourcing and Operations strategy, Leadership development and training, and High-touch Customer Interactions.
Vijay currently works as Vice President, Research & Development at Amdocs India.
Vijay holds a B.E. (Hons) degree from Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani, and an M.S. degree in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Apart from work, he immensely enjoys photography, running, yoga, and racquet sports. He currently resides in Pune, India with his wife, their two children, and their dog.
Ravindra Kumar Yerramsetti - Founder & Managing Director

IIM, Calcutta and BITS, Pilani alumnus, Ravindra is responsible for developing and executing Ubergrad's overall growth as well as revenue strategy. The enrichment of mind, acceptance and tolerance that come with international travel and overseas higher education motivated him to start Ubergrad and develop it into a leading study abroad service provider.
In the last 19+ years of his journey as an entrepreneur, he successfully promoted and profitably exited three businesses – SMSCountry Networks (providing APIs for transactional and bulk SMS to Fortune 500 companies in India & Middle East), www.160by2.com (an ad-supported free SMS portal with over 12 crore consumers) and www.Q-Tickets.com (an online ticketing website for citizens of Qatar).
Prior to that, Ravindra worked with Tata Steel in their prestigious Hot Strip Mill at Jamshedpur, taking care of the maintenance of High Voltage Equipment and with Kotak Mahindra Bank in their Securities and Wealth Management Divisions, handling the investment advisory at Hyderabad and Kolkata.
In his free time, Ravindra likes reading books and watching movies with his family and friends. He is a big fan of Harry Potter, J.R.R. Tolkein, the Tata Group founder Jamshedji Tata, Sachin Tendulkar, A. R. Rehman to name a few.
